Today, I took the Shotover Jetboat and the helicopter ride! It was extremely fun! We took a mini bus to the river where the Shotover Jet was.
We got into a jet boat, which could take approximately 14 people. I wanted to sit in the front row, but I was too small. Aww! We rode for a while, then did one 360 degree turn. Altogether, we did eleven turns. I got really wet as I sat at the side. Awesome! After that, we took the helicopter ride to the top of a mountain called ‘The Remarkables’. We saw beautiful and amazing scenery from the helicopter. A few minutes later, we finally reached the top of the mountain. We took a few pictures and went back to the helicopter after about 10 minutes. We then landed at a different spot near an air-conditioned room. We had a break, and then we had dinner.
Today sure was an exciting day!

Experience at the Farm
Today we went on a farm trip! We took a NOMAD SAFARIS jeep to the barn but we made a few stops along the way. It was called Wargs, the name of a character in Lord of the Rings. The first stop was at a small barn, where we saw a man shearing a sheep. I saw all the sheep’s fur on the ground. I also saw 5 dogs, Sid, Turro, Buff, Damon and Molly. Turro kept chasing the sheep and almost bit one of them! OUCH! Then we went to our 2nd stop, which was on the hills. We saw a house, which was supposed to be for stargazing. It was my grandfather’s friend’s house. We took a few pictures, and then we went to our 3rd stop.It was a shelter where we had hot chocolate and cookies.Hot chocolate on such a hot day! We saw bees surrounding barrels of honey from a distance away. I guess they were too obsessed with their honey to notice us. Our final stop - the Alpacas. We fed them their yummy food. They looked a bit like llamas, but Alpacas have softer fur. One of them even had green saliva. YUCKS!
